Joey Hansen entered the mortgage business in 2003, at the prompting of a good friend who was also in the industry and was convinced she'd be a good fit. She'd been in the HR/Recruiting field for 7 years prior to that (except for a 2-year stint at a Colorado dude ranch... it's a fun story and it's how she met her husband... feel free to ask her!). Whatever it was her friend saw in her, she was right. Joey absolutely loves the mortgage business and has experienced great success and personal satisfaction from it. In her free time you'll find her chasing around (and getting chased by) her young son, Westin, who will be joined by his brother Camden. She loves spending time with her husband Jeremy, especially outdoors. Joey loves cycling, hiking, camping, playing golf, and a whole host of other outdoor adventures. She also loves to cook gourmet meals, as long as she has a good recipe to follow. Her vegetable garden is a work in progress and her goal in 2010 is to begin canning fruits and vegetables. She is accepting applications for mentors in this field, as she's never canned before. Wish her luck!
